Keypad keeps itself in a sleeping mode to save battery power.

It operates on 2 x lithium ion batteries with lifespan of around 6-7 years with 10 openings per day.

Keypad can be install as far as 70m away from motor using AW antenna. AW antenna is not supplied with the keypad.
